Back in business
Today was my first day, back at work, after this two weeks holiday.
It was quite a boring turn back, since I had no desk, and no computer :) Therefore., I had quite a long coffee. Or two.
Now.. why would I post anything about work? Bleah, work!
But, this time.. there’s a bigger challenge. More of a personal challenge, for me. It’s about communication. :D
Me, as formation, I am an engineer, and as experience, I am a programmer. Apparently (and, actually, in my opinion too), I think, and.. speak, in images, diagrams, etc. Words, are truly a challenge :P
Just add to this my natural.. shyness (:P).. and. there I am in front of a group of people, babbling, sweating, all read, with a dry mouth.. just hoping this will end faster.
Ok, this hasn’t happened yet (or at least not lately), but.. I am supposed to start training people now. I’ll have to make presentations, interviews, etc.. I’ll have to.. talk! IIIIIiiii!! :D
So yeah.. that’s the thing. I will have to do it. I will get paid for it. And.. it’s something that I want to do for myself, so this should be quite a good reason to push me to do it, even if I am not very happy about it.
Yup.. and also, it’s something like a mission impossible for starters, because I have about half of the necessary time to prepare my first assignment. Oh well… somebody has to do it :D
